At 2:00 PM Eastern, North America’s longest endurance race will take the green flag for the 25 Hours of Thunderhill presented by Hawk Performance. The 12 running of the event will take place at the infamous NorCal racetrack that has provided the playground for the race since it’s inception in 2002.
The race will feature a variety of GT, Touring Car, and prototype machinery such as Porsche GT3 Cup, Lotus Exige, Wolf, BMW M3, Nissan 370Z, Audi R8 LMS, Mazda Miata MX-5 and RX-8, Norma, Acura Integra, Radical, Acura ILX, Honda Civic, Factory Five Racing, Ginetta LMP3, NPO1 Prototype, and more across six different classes! Well known teams such as Flying Lizard Motorsports, HPD, Honda Racing, Mazda Motorsports, THRW/Acura Motorsports, and One Motorsports take to the 25 Hour during the off season of some of America’s top racing series. The driver lineup for the event is just as diverse and star-studded as the machinery, itself, with name such as Al Unser, Jr. Ryan Eversley, Darren Law, Kurt Busch, Guy Cosmo, and Randy Pobst.
Qualifying was last night with El Diablo Motorsports taking the pole in E0, Grip Racing in E1, RDR in E2, RA Motorsports in E3, Davidson Racing in ES, ONE Motorsports in ESR, and CLP Motorsports in NP01.
