Parente

Coming off of a Lime Rock Park sweep, Alvaro Parente heads into Round 12 and 13 of the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge season as the points leader. Four wins and six podiums have set Parente to lead the championship by 64 points over Wright Motorsports’ Patrick Long. We’ll discuss his success this season int the K-PAX Racing McLaren 650S and where we should expect to see the McLarens’ strengths for the rest of the season.
cindricAustin Cindric and Colin Thompson represent the ‘young guns’ of Pirelli World Challenge. Coming off of a highly successful Porsche GT3 Cup tenure, Thompson enters the top-tier GT class for the first time in his career. To say Cindric has a hectic schedule is doing him a disservice. During the school year, the 17-year old balances student life, a full season in Pirelli World Challenge and a variety of stock car racing series. The duo have acquainted themselves very quickly to the advanced McLarens and look to have a great season ahead of them.

Thompson

We’ll also be joined by Flying Lizard Motorsports’ Program Manager Darren Law to discuss the amazing history of the highly popular team. We’ll also discuss the return of the Flying Lizard livery returning on a Porsche as the team fields Andy Wilzoch’s Porsche 911 GT3 R for GTA-class competition in the Pirelli World Challenge.

As a mechanical engineer, Dusty’s passion is for sports cars and endurance racing. In his opinion, there’s nothing better than a race car closely based on a model that you can go out and buy from the manufacturer showroom. He’s very particular about his writing utensils and appreciates a great, cruelty free pomade.
