Paul Miller Racing will return to the GT Daytona class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with a very familiar set up for the 2017 season. Both Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow will return to pilot the No. 48 Lamborghini Huracan GT3, mirroring the team’s 2016 effort.
The duo earned a third-place finish in the championship this year after large improvement throughout the season. The team scored Lamborghini their first WeatherTech Championship podium at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. Steady improvement brought five Top 5 finishes in the second half of the season, including a win at Virginia International Raceway and runner-up result at Circuit of the Americas.
Consistency is the key word that will describe the team’s lineup for next year. Adding to the consistent driver lineup and machinery is the return of longstanding PMR team manager, Mitchell Simmons and other important members of the crew including engineer/strategist, Dave Fullerton, and crew chief Bobby Garcia.
Bryce Miller returns as the third driver for the team for the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen, and Road Atlanta. A fourth driver will be chosen from the stable of Lamborghini factory drivers for Daytona.
The team will return to the track for the November Daytona test on November 15 – 16. Lamborghini factory driver, Andrea Caldarelli, will join Sellers, Snow, and Miller at the test.
